AWS Cost Audit

I find what your AWS bill is quietly bleeding and hand you the remediation plan. You keep the savings forever.

Plan in 7 business days

The AWS bill went up again, and nobody on the team can say exactly why. Finance is asking questions. The last "optimization" was someone turning off dev instances at night.

Structural waste hides in specific places: idle compute, the wrong database tier, unbounded LLM calls, missing lifecycle policies, NAT traffic nobody traced, and commitments that never got made.

An audit is not advice to "use Savings Plans." It is line-item findings from your actual billing data, with the math shown and a remediation order.

This is for you if

  • Your monthly AWS spend is real money (typically $5K+/mo) and trending the wrong way.
  • Nobody owns FinOps, and cost visibility stops at the service level.
  • You run LLM/GenAI workloads and token spend has no per-request ceiling.
  • You want the savings executed by your own team from a concrete plan.

Not a fit if

  • Your bill is under a few thousand dollars a month. The audit fee won't pay for itself; take the free fit call instead.
  • You want someone to negotiate an EDP with AWS. That is procurement, not architecture.
  • You already have a mature FinOps practice and dashboards you trust; you'd be paying me to agree with them.

Exactly what you get

How it works

  1. 01

    Book & access (30 min)

Read-only access to Cost Explorer / CUR data and a short call on what the system does. No production access needed.

  2. 02

I trace the spend (days 1 to 5)

Cost drivers by service, by workload, by unit. Idle inventory, tier mismatches, untraced data transfer, uncommitted steady-state, unbounded model calls.

  3. 03

You get the plan (day 7)

Written findings with the math, a prioritized remediation plan, and a walkthrough. Typical engagements surface enough structural waste to cut 30 to 40% of spend, up to 55% on the heaviest cases.

Up to 55%

Multi-client AWS cost optimization program: up to 55% reduction with Savings Plan coverage taken from 0% to 78%, through architecture audits, right-sizing, and FinOps automation.

₹50L+

AWS waste removed for clients each year (~$60K+/year) through audits, right-sizing, Savings Plans, LLM/token optimization, and serverless refactors.

Common questions

What do you need from us to start?

Read-only billing access (Cost Explorer or CUR exports) and 30 minutes with someone who knows what the workloads do. No production access, no agent installs, no code changes.

How is this different from AWS's own cost tools?

Cost Explorer tells you what you spend; it does not know which spend is structural waste. The audit connects billing data to architecture decisions (why the NAT bill is high, which database tier is wrong, where LLM calls need ceilings) and sequences the fixes by payback.

Do you implement the changes?

The audit deliverable is a plan your team executes. That keeps it cheap and fast. If you want hands-on execution afterward, that is an Implementation Sprint, scoped from the audit's findings.
